Meet Lillian
Hello! I am Lillian. Welcome to my craft corner and I am delighted you are here. Thought I share a little bit about me. Throughout my adult life, my focus and identity have been predominately on my professional career. I rarely allocate time for creative pursuits or if I do, I’d feel guilty for not being productive. It changed in early 2020. Recognizing the need for balance and self-care, I started making paper cranes to destress from mounting pressure at work and navigating life during the pandemic. It led to learning more difficult origami designs and found that I love folding modular origami models where multiple units fit together to form a ball-like shape (known as kusudama). Over time, I began incorporating origami with greeting cards to give to friends and family. I find paper crafting fuels my creativity and rejuvenates my soul. It gives me so much joy to make and share these beautiful creations with care and love. I am learning the craft and continue to explore and improve on various techniques. The result is this blog which I hope to share my paper crafting journey. I am so grateful you decide to come along…
